Don't Blame Your Daughter.

Although she speaks the language with her struggling chee-na accent,my mom has absolutely no problem with comprehending and conversing in malay, which, used to amazed my friends a lot actually. But the amusing part is, she sucked big time in her own language, which is, chinese.

Being raised in an english speaking environment, with loads of ang-mohs for neighbours, i think my maternal grandparents must have been a couple of snobbish chee-na pricks for not cultivating their own culture and language strongly to their kids.

And because i am me, i often blamed my mom for not taking the initiative in learning them. At least i know i did....(somehow)

PS: all graphic sources are from the web, ain't mine. Lovin' and missin' ya mummy.
